In 1808, the opening of the Hungarian military service was declared by law.

The foundation stone of the building of the Royal Hungarian Ludovica Defense Academy was laid in 1830, after which the construction progressed rapidly, with the main walls, roofs and roofs practically ready by the end of 1832.

The building is still standing today and the birds always sense the approaching storm…
